Outlandish Operators work remotely, delivering creative projects on behalf of our clients from anywhere in the world.

This is not traditional freelancing.
Operators are selected, trained, and activated to deliver work within established agency workflows.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Outlandish Operators may already have creative experience, or may be motivated to learn and develop skills within the creative AI industry.

This opportunity is well suited to people who:

• Enjoy creative execution using AI tools

• Want access to paid projects without chasing clients

• Are comfortable working remotely and independently

• Value clear briefs, deadlines, and quality standards

• Are reliable, punctual, and consistent

Previous AI or creative experience is beneficial, but not essential. Commitment and execution matter more than titles.

PAID PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES

Outlandish Operators are paid per project, not per hour.

• £25 - £75 for short-form promotional content (15–60 seconds)

• Up to £300 on average for standard creative projects

• £300 - £500+ for larger or bespoke client work

All projects are issued with a clear brief, deadline, and payment amount upfront.
In some cases, Operators may be required to tailor quotes for bespoke work.

Reliable Operators who consistently meet briefs and deadlines are frequently requested again by clients and receive access to more regular and higher-value projects.

ASSESSMENT & OPEN DAY ACCESS

All Outlandish Operators are selected through an assessment process.

We host in-person Open Day assessment sessions in London, where we:

• Walk through how the Operator system works

• Set expectations around output and standards

• Assign a practical assessment task

Remote assessment options may be available for shortlisted applicants who are not London or UK based.

Attendance or successful remote assessment is required to be considered.

HOW THE OPERATOR SYSTEM WORKS

• Approved Operators join the Outlandish Operator bench

• Operators receive notifications when projects become available

• Projects are offered on a first-come, first-served basis

• Operators choose which projects suit their availability

• Clients often request the same Operator again when satisfied

• Upon satisfactory delivery, Outlandish processes payment to Operators on behalf of clients

The more consistent and reliable your delivery, the more opportunities you will receive.
